LIU Brooklyn Campus has been around since 1926. It was established to allow all students regardless of race and religious convictions. They set out to offer students of all walks of life the ability to obtain a higher education. Located in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, New York, the LIU Brooklyn Campus has a lot to offer everyone.
Students have a lot of choices when it comes to picking an academic program to study. LIU Brooklyn campus prides itself for allowing students to find and create course of study that fits individual needs. By combining courses from over 70 different choices in the liberal arts to the sciences and technology fields, students are able to customize their focus of study around their strengths and interests. Academic advisors are available to help students figure out which career path to choose.
The LIU Brooklyn campus allows students to choose from over 80 different Graduate and Doctoral Degree programs. The majority of all Graduate and Doctoral programs are offered in the late afternoons, evening and even on the weekends. This is to help accommodate those students who are in the workforce and have families. The other nice thing is that most programs have year round schedules including summer sessions which make it easier for students to complete their course of study in a timelier manner. From the School of Business, School of Education, School of Nursing or the College of Pharmacy and Health Science, there is a program for everyone.
The Brooklyn Campus of LIU offers classes that everyone can take. Not only do they have the traditional classes during the day, but they offer classes and degree programs during the evening and weekends as well. This allows everyone, no matter who busy they are, to take advantage of getting an education.
