Nestled in the heart of Long Island, on over 25 acres of along the picturesque Lake Patchogue, sits Saint Joseph's College Suffolk Campus. This branch of St. Joseph's College was established in 1978 to meet the needs of its rapidly expanding student population and the needs of the community. The Recreation/Fitness facility on campus, the John A. Danzi Athletic Center, is one of a kind. They offer students, campus staff and faculty an Olympic sized competition pool as well as a complete state of the art fitness center that also has an elevated indoor track. It is a great place to enjoy athletic programs as well as engage in one of the many recreational activities that they have to offer. Located directly across from the Danzi Center are the athletic fields, better known as Gregg Alfano Field. It is here that you can catch a baseball, softball or soccer practice or game. What makes this campus stand out is the state of the art Business Technology Center. This center offers students a one of a kind education in the field of business technology. Not only do they have 'smart classrooms' but they have top of the line computer labs and video conference rooms. Above all, the Long Island campus is linked directly to the Brooklyn campus making it easier for students to access everything from the computer labs to libraries.
Another plus to attending the Suffolk Campus of St. Joseph's College is the beautiful Clare Rose Playhouse. This Playhouse serves as the center for the drama and theater courses. It is here that the majority of the theater courses are taught. It is the perfect venue for year round theater and stage productions that students, faculty and the community can enjoy.
